Dolly Diva Design

Home of fashions for the fashion dolls—currently Gene, Tyler, and Vita. But in future, emphasis will be on designs for the new American Model (Tonner). Manufacturers' outfits, as well as many of the 16±" dolls themselves will be available until they sell out. Patterns for original designs, some from 30s/40s for all the above will also be available. We're going to have a lot of dolly fun here, folks!

Okay. I've done the concert!

I've proved I can still perform well enough to "keep foolin' 'em" as Ms. Sills suggested I do after the last performance of my opera debut in the little role of Alisa, her companion, in Lucia di Lammermoor. She knew how the job worked, that lady! I'll want to keep at it as long I can manage to "fool 'em"—yes, ma'm, I will!

But for now, there's enough time available that I can start with dolls again. I almost got finished with the special outfit I was planning for my donation to the Pity Party on the Gene Marshall yahoo group "HLAYG" (stands for Here's Looking At You, Gene—in case you were wondering!) last weekend, but work interfered. Too bad I have to support my doll habit, not to mention my music habit as well! It leaves much less time for actually playing with either of them.

The outfit is my own design. So I will be putting it in this boutique instead—when it opens at last on December 1, at 2:00 pm PST! Maybe I will give it away as a doorprize to thank someone who shows up! I would like to make several things to offer along with the outfits from the manufacturers, Ashton-Drake mostly and a few from the Wu shop. I will also be offering some repaints at a much later date. I have to practice with the medium. I've been a painter since I was about 10 years old. However, I haven't used acrylics very much so I want to get really good with them before I "go public" with my work.

Well, I'm done for tonight. Just wanted to say something about the fact that I've had to postpone my boutique opening one last time. I will open on December 1 because I have some of the things I got at the Hollywood Ahoy! convention that I plan to offer so please make plans to visit me on December 1 at 2:00 pm PST or anytime after. The beauty of having a shop online is that it can be open 24/7 and I don't even have to hire a nightwatchman.
